What I do here
Endpoints and schema
Spring Boot REST endpoints on JPA/Hibernate, with the schema versioned in Liquibase so every change could be walked back.
The interface on top
Angular and TypeScript screens consuming those endpoints, built for people who do not choose to use the application.
Keeping it standing
I automated in Python the extraction and transformation of complex data (BLOB/CLOB) from legacy databases, and analysed the old Java/JBoss code to plan a migration with no data loss.
Worth naming
- Python ETL for BLOB/CLOB types that replaced a manual, error-prone process.
- Dependency map of the legacy Java code to plan the migration without losing data.
